Legacy Protection Group is the culmination of a shared, faith-driven passion for safety and preparedness. We are Joseph and Deanna Carter, and we believe in empowering individuals to build a stronger, more resilient community together.

Our journey, shaped by Joseph's ongoing career in the U.S. military, has been a great adventure, taking our family from Texas to Turkey, Germany, and many places in between. But with our roots spread across Tennessee, Georgia, and Florida, we felt a calling to plant our own family's roots right here in Central Alabama—a place that has truly become the center of our world.

It was through attending churches all over the globe that we noticed a common theme. Joseph often tells this story:

"I saw churches asking for volunteers in the nursery or for children's ministry. While these roles are essential, it's simply not the environment where some men and women feel called or equipped to serve. When our family started attending our church here in Alabama, I was approached by a gentleman, who is now a dear friend and mentor, and he asked if I would join their Safety Team. Something immediately clicked. I am not good at many things in life. But there are a few things that I am really good at, and it's so special and important to be able to share those talents and use them for the glory of God. I realized there must be others who desperately want to feel that same connection but haven't found their place to plug in."

This is that place.

We founded Legacy Protection Group to create that place—to build teams, to foster stewardship, and to provide a path for people to use their unique gifts to protect their families, community, schools, and places of worship.
